Job summary

Mortenson seeks a Project Manager I/II to lead project quality, timeliness, safety, and mentor the team. You will develop and strengthen customer relationships through excellent service and manage subcontractors and vendors.

This role supports both levels based on experience, with compensation determined by experience and location. Denver, CO office; travel up to 100% may be required. Base pay ranges are listed for each level and eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction/engineering management.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 100%.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
• Strong understanding of construction practices and business standards.
• Proficient in MS Office and project software.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall financial health of projects including subcontracts and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain project financial projections and allocate project estimate into financial system.
• Determine cost codes, approve invoices, and provide financials to Accounting for payment.
• Create monthly owner billings and handle contract management including buyouts.
• Oversee budget for and select trade partners and suppliers.
• Lead/Manage Assistant PMs and Project Engineers, assigning work and mentoring.
• Approve timecards and provide feedback to on-site team.
• Serve as main liaison with owner and on-site reps; review owner agreements and resolve site concerns.
• Execute/Manage change orders and obtain approvals; monitor schedule and budget to project completion.
