Mortenson is seeking an experienced Project Manager I to lead projects with professionalism, flexibility, and resourcefulness. You will manage project quality, timeliness, and safety, mentor the project team, and develop strong customer relationships via excellent service and communication.

The role requires coordinating contract negotiations, managing subcontracts, and leading cross-functional teams. Base pay ranges reflect multiple office locations, with incentive eligibility and a focus on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction-related field.
• Six+ years of related experience.
• Ability to assist with complex project responsibilities.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Understanding of construction law and business practices.
• Experience in commercial, renewable energy, EPC contracting, or emerging technologies is preferred.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and related web apps.
• Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Manage overall financial health of projects.
• Support and lead EPC contract negotiations, including technical exhibits and project schedules.
• Lead vendor procurement and bid/award phase for major subs and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain project financial and equipment projections.
• Allocate project estimate into financial system, determine cost codes, approve invoices.
• Provide financials and billings to accounting, create monthly owner billings.
• Manage subcontracts and suppliers, oversee budget and selections of trade partners.
• Handle billings, contract management, and change orders.
• Manage and develop Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, approve timecards, provide feedback.
