Job summary

Henderson Engineers in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Project Manager I to oversee project delivery from start to finish. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate plan development, and maintain strong client relationships to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

This role requires a technical background and 3 years of PM experience (or 7 years without a degree), with MEP design exposure. You’ll contribute to proposals, budgets, and quality control while growing within an ESOP culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years project management experience; 7 years without degree.
• MEP design experience.
• Proficiency in project management standards and execution.
• Understanding of building design and construction principles.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution and client experience on assigned projects.
• Assist with proposals, contracts and project budgets.
• Plan and coordinate project deliverables on assigned projects.
• Manage client service and project communication.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to budgets and financial expectations.
• Responsible for overall project performance.
• Contribute to efforts to improve performance and ensure quality standards.
• Support design and drafting activities as needed.
