Job summary

Prime Executives is seeking an experienced Project Manager for high-end residential construction in Manhattan. You will own projects from preconstruction through close-out, handling budget, schedule, procurement, RFIs, and subcontractor performance while coordinating with top architects and designers.

Project Manager, High-End Residential Construction | Manhattan

A Manhattan general contractor specializing in high-end residential construction, primarily townhouses & higher-end interior renovations, is hiring an experienced Project Manager to join at a genuinely exciting point in its growth.

The firm has grown fast, by reputation and referral, and is delivering complex, design-led work for some of the most respected architects in the city. Recent work includes a project of real profile in the design world. There is a strong pipeline of signed work, so the busy period is guaranteed for years, not quarters.

For the right person this is a rare thing: joining early enough to shape how the business runs, with real runway to grow into senior positions as the firm scales.

The role

You’ll take full ownership of your projects from preconstruction through close-out: budget, schedule, buyout, submittals and RFIs, procurement, change orders, subcontractor performance, DOB coordination, and client and design team relationships. The owners stay hands-on alongside a highly experienced Project Executive, so no PM here is ever left without senior support.

What we're looking for

• Background in high-end residential: townhouses, gut renovations, luxury apartments, or architect-led custom interiors (Ideally projects $5M+)
• A track record running high-end residential projects as the lead PM
• Experience working effectively with top-tier architects and designers
• Strong on cost control, documentation, and program. Procore or comparable
• Comfortable with millwork, high-spec finishes, and demanding clients and design teams. In this market, the last 5% of the job is the job
• Initiative and ownership matter here more than CV credentials
• NYC based and field present. This is an office and site role, not a remote one
• Must be authorized to work in the US
