Job summary

Gold Group Limited in New York, NY is seeking an Assistant/Junior Project Manager for luxury residential projects. You will assist on ground-up construction and renovations, handling RFPs, scheduling, and documentation across multiple projects.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare RFP/bid packages and other project compliance documents.
  • Work on 2–3 projects concurrently.
  • Lead the document management of projects.
  • Manage and track architectural drawings, project documents, and samples.
  • Issue submittals and transmittals as required.
  • Prepare reports for weekly meetings with designers, architects, and clients.
  • Perform administrative PM tasks as needed.
  • Coordinate with in-house team, subcontractors, clients, architects, and designers.
  • Update master schedules and monitor progress.
  • Review potential change orders and report to the Project Manager.
  • Facilitate timely preparation and delivery of submittal documentation.
  • Maintain records for all contract administration phases.

We are looking for an Assistant or Junior level Project Manager who can join a well respected and leading name in New York who are recognised for working on high-end residential projects, from ground-up construction, to renovations.

What we are looking for from you:
  • An Undergraduate degree
  • 1-3+ years' experience in high- end residential construction or architecture
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and to work under pressure
Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of RFP/bid packages and other project compliance documents
  • Working on 2-3 projects at a given time
  • You will lead the document management of your projects
  • Manage and track all architectural drawings, project documents, and samples for various trades, issue submittals and transmittals as required
  • Actively participate in and write reports for weekly meetings with designers, architects, and clients
  • Perform any administrative tasks for PM as required
  • Communicate with all parties involved in projects including in-house team, subcontractors, clients, architects, and designers
  • Prepare, monitor, and update master schedules.
  • Review potential change orders and report to the Project Manager.
  • Facilitate timely preparation and delivery of all required submittal documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records for all phases of contract administration including schedules, RFI's, change orders, transmittals, submittals, schedules, etc.
  • Help identify potential coordination problems or missing information.
  • Reads and thoroughly understands contracts, construction drawings and specifications.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
