Job summary

Kimmel & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to join our client’s team in Hurricane, Utah, supporting heavy civil projects in St. George and Southern Utah.

You will report to the department head and collaborate with field staff, owners, and contract management to ensure smooth project transitions and successful execution. The ideal candidate is a motivated construction professional with strong communication skills, PM experience in heavy civil work, and a readiness to pursue new

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2–7 years of relevant construction experience.
• Experience in heavy civil construction is strongly preferred.
• Underground utilities experience is a plus.
• Experience with UDOT projects or similar public infrastructure work is beneficial.
• Bid2Win experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation and administrative requirements, including change orders, RFIs, RFPs, submittals, and related paperwork.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, project schedules, and other project resources.
• Develop estimates, quantity takeoffs, project budgets, and billings for assigned projects.
• Assist onsite management with monthly project billings and financial tracking.
• Coordinate closely with field supervisors and onsite project management to support successful project execution.
• Represent the company professionally in communications and relationships with project owners, clients, and contract representatives.
• Participate in contract negotiations and other client-facing activities.
• Prepare marketing materials, prequalification packages, and other documentation for prospective clients.
• Assist field teams as needed to keep projects moving efficiently and address project challenges.
• Help identify, develop, and secure alternative sources of work and new business opportunities.
• Support projects involving bridges, earthwork, underground and wet utilities, asphalt, and other heavy civil scopes.
• Perform other project management and business development responsibilities as required.
