Job summary

Kimmel & Associates, Inc. is engaged to place an experienced Project Manager for large-scale heavy civil and environmental projects across the Southeast. You will own project delivery from mobilization to closeout, coordinating with field leadership, clients, and the VP of Operations.

The role requires 5+ years in heavy civil management, CCR experience preferred, and a strong grasp of project financials and scheduling. On-site work on long-term power plant projects is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management within heavy civil construction.
• Experience managing earthwork, environmental construction, underground utilities, paving, or related heavy civil work.
• CCR/coal ash, ash pond closure, or landfill construction experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, budgets, cost control, billing, change orders, and overall financial performance.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Lead project teams including Superintendents, Foremen, operators, and field personnel.
• Oversee large-scale earthmoving and environmental construction operations.
• Serve as primary point of contact for owners and clients.
• Manage owner document control, compliance, reporting and documentation.
