Job summary

Sunrock in Wake Forest, NC is seeking a Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction projects through estimating, planning, execution, and closeout. You will coordinate with general superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and customers to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced field environment with limited overnight travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management, estimating, or heavy civil operations
• Degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license and knowledge of NCDOT/municipal projects preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of construction projects from estimating to closeout
• Coordinate schedules, resource allocation, and field operations
• Manage budgets, costs, and financial performance to ensure profitability
• Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and change orders
• Provide regular project updates to leadership and clients
