Job summary

Sunrock is seeking a Project Manager – Heavy Civil Construction to lead the full lifecycle of complex projects. You will partner with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and profitability, handling estimating, planning, execution, and closeout in a fast-paced field environment.

The role requires 5+ years in construction project management, NC experience preferred, a degree in CM or Engineering, and a NC driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management, estimating, or heavy civil operations.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience with NCDOT, municipal, or infrastructure projects strongly preferred.
• Valid North Carolina Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of construction projects from estimating to closeout.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate subs, vendors, and field operations.
• Provide regular project updates, forecasts, and performance insights to leadership.
