The Project Manager will be a member of the PMO Team, reporting to the Director of Program Management. The PMO Team leads client software implementation projects and works closely with the Product Management team to identify opportunities and develop solutions. The Project Manager is a critical role within the organization, primarily responsible for managing software implementations from initiation to closure. The role involves working on various projects, collaborating with clients and internal teams (including Business Analysts, Development, QA, Sales, and Leadership) in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, skilled at multitasking, relationship-building, and understands the software development lifecycle. This position offers opportunities to impact business processes and company success. It is a highly technical role requiring motivation and mentorship of cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Manage client communications and expectations effectively.
  2. Own the customer relationship, serve as the primary contact during implementation, and maintain trust as a trusted advisor.
  3. Define projects, execute tasks, deliver outcomes, coordinate staffing, and monitor results.
  4. Develop and deliver training sessions.
  5. Act as a subject matter expert to gather comprehensive business requirements from clients.
  6. Coordinate across teams as a team leader and collaborator.
  7. Work with Product Management to align product vision with customer feedback for optimal solutions.
  8. Present project statuses to the executive team.
  9. Ensure documentation (business requirements, user stories, wireframes, specifications, test plans) accurately reflects client needs and is clear for Development and QA teams.
  10. Manage issues, risks, and change processes appropriately.
  11. Coordinate effort estimation for development tasks.
  12. Plan milestones, track progress, and prioritize bug reports.
  13. Coordinate training for team members.
Requirements
  • Deep technology skills, including understanding of sFTP, APIs, file formats, GUIDs, integrations, and HTML.
  • Experience with specialty pharmacy and SaaS or enterprise software implementation.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical or related industries.
  • Experience in consulting for external clients.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision, high ethical standards, and good data analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, proficiency in MS Office.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, CS, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of managing complex software projects, including client-facing roles.
  • Agile experience and industry-specific knowledge preferred.
  • Strong presentation, organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, adaptable to change.
