The Project Manager will be part of the PMO Team, reporting to the Director of Program Management. Responsibilities include managing client software implementation projects from start to finish, working closely with internal teams such as Business Analysts, Development, QA, Sales, and Executive Leadership in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, skilled in relationship building, and has a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle. This role offers opportunities to influence business processes and company success. It is a highly technical position requiring motivation and mentorship skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage client communications and set expectations effectively.
  • Serve as the primary contact during implementations, maintaining a trusted advisor relationship with clients.
  • Define project scope, execute tasks, deliver outcomes, coordinate staffing, and monitor results.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions.
  • Gather comprehensive business requirements from clients as a subject matter expert.
  • Coordinate across functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to align product vision with customer needs.
  • Present project updates to the executive team.
  • Ensure documentation (business requirements, user stories, wireframes, etc.) accurately reflects client needs for development and QA teams.
  • Manage issues, risks, and changes using established processes.
  • Coordinate effort estimation, milestone planning, progress tracking, and bug prioritization.
  • Organize training for team members.
Requirements
  • Deep technical skills, including sFTP, APIs, file formats, GUIDs, and integrations.
  • Knowledge of HTML and specialty pharmacy systems.
  • Proven experience implementing SaaS and enterprise software applications.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or specialty pharmacy industry preferred.
  • Consulting experience for external clients.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision, high ethical standards, and integrity.
  • Strong data analysis and business skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years managing complex software projects, including client-facing projects.
  • Agile experience preferred.
  • Pharmacy industry experience a plus.
  • Excellent presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently or in teams.
  • Adaptability to rapid change.
