Project Manager - Healthcare - Remote

The Project Manager will be part of the PMO Team, reporting to the Director of Program Management. This team leads client software implementation projects and collaborates closely with Product Management to identify opportunities and develop solutions. The role involves managing software implementations from initiation to closure, working with clients and internal teams (including Business Analysts, Development, QA, Sales, and Leadership) in a dynamic environment.

We seek a detail-oriented, flexible Project Manager skilled at managing multiple projects, building relationships, and understanding the software development lifecycle. This position offers significant impact on business processes and company success. It is highly technical, with responsibilities for product quality, team motivation, and mentorship.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Manage client communications and expectations effectively.
  2. Serve as the primary contact during implementation, maintaining a trusted advisor relationship with clients.
  3. Define and execute implementation projects, coordinate staffing, and monitor results.
  4. Develop and deliver training sessions.
  5. Act as a subject matter expert to gather complete business requirements from clients.
  6. Coordinate across functional teams to ensure project success.
  7. Collaborate with Product Management to align product vision with customer needs.
  8. Present project statuses to the executive team.
  9. Ensure documentation (business requirements, user stories, wireframes, etc.) accurately reflects client needs.
  10. Manage issues, risks, and changes using established processes.
  11. Estimate development efforts and plan milestones.
  12. Track progress and prioritize bug reports.
  13. Coordinate training for team members.
Requirements
  • Strong technical skills, including understanding of sFTP, APIs, file formats, GUIDs, and integrations.
  • Knowledge of HTML and specialty pharmacy systems.
  • Proven experience implementing SaaS or enterprise software applications.
  • Industry experience in pharmaceuticals, specialty pharmacy, or related fields.
  • Experience consulting for external clients.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision, high ethical standards, and integrity.
  • Strong data, business, and financial analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years managing complex software projects, including client-facing roles.
  • Agile development experience preferred.
  • Experience in the specialty pharmacy industry preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
  • Adaptability to rapid change.
