Job Description
The Project Manager will be a member of the PMO Team, reporting to the Director of Program Management. The PMO Team leads client software implementation projects and works closely with the Product Management team to identify opportunities and develop solutions. The Project Manager is a critical role within the organization, primarily responsible for successfully managing software implementations from project initiation through closure. The candidate will work on various projects, collaborating with clients and internal teams (including Business Analysts, Development, QA, Sales, and Executive Leadership) in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We seek a detail-oriented, flexible individual who can manage multiple tasks, build relationships, and understand the software development lifecycle. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage client communications and expectations effectively.
- Own the customer relationship as the primary contact during implementation, maintaining trust as a trusted advisor.
- Define projects, execute tasks, deliver outcomes, coordinate staffing, and monitor results.
- Develop and deliver training programs.
- Act as a subject matter expert to gather complete and accurate business requirements from clients.
- Coordinate across functional teams as a team player and leader.
- Collaborate with Product Management to align product vision with customer needs to deliver optimal solutions.
- Present project statuses to the executive team.
- Work closely with Business Analysts to ensure documentation (business requirements, user stories, wireframes, specifications, test plans) accurately reflects client needs.
- Manage issues, risks, and changes using established processes.
- Coordinate effort estimations for development tasks.
- Plan milestones, track progress, and prioritize bug reports.
- Coordinate training for team members.
Requirements
- Deep technical skills, including understanding of sFTP, APIs, file formats, GUIDs, integrations, and HTML.
- Experience with Specialty Pharmacy systems.
- Proven success in implementing SaaS and/or enterprise software applications.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical, special pharmacy, hub, or related industries.
- Experience in consulting for external clients.
- Self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- High ethical standards and personal integrity.
- Strong data, business, and financial analysis skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project).

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience managing complex software projects, including client-facing projects.
- Experience with Agile software development.
- Experience in the specialty pharmacy industry.
- Strong presentation, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
