Job Title: Project Manager - Healthcare IT (Revenue Cycle)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex technology initiatives within a healthcare environment. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and issues while ensuring successful delivery of Revenue Cycle-related projects. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on project manager with strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills who can drive projects forward and align teams toward common goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all phases of project execution from initiation through completion.
- Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules, timelines, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
- Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Track, manage, and forecast project financials.
- Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
- Identify, document, and elevate project risks and issues as needed to maintain project objectives.
- Manage project scope, resources, budget, and timelines while ensuring adherence to organizational standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, third‑party vendors, and managed service partners.
- Facilitate virtual project meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
- Drive accountability across project teams and promote timely resolution of obstacles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Healthcare IT Project Manager.
- Hands‑on project management experience leading technology implementations and enhancements.
- Demonstrated experience managing Revenue Cycle projects within a healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, financial forecasting, risks, and resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- General understanding of computer hardware and software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or other PMI certification strongly preferred.
- Experience with ServiceNow.
- Experience with Epic and/or Oracle Cerner healthcare platforms.
- Experience working with healthcare operations, clinical, and business stakeholders.
