Highmark Health is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead mid-size to large initiatives across the organization. You will own the full project lifecycle, coordinating scope, budget, timeline, risks, and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

Responsibilities include planning, resource management, RAID, status reporting, and team leadership. A bachelor's degree and 3+ years PM experience in healthcare or similar industry are required; PMP preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience with MS Project, Jira, Asana or similar PM tools.
  • Healthcare or health insurance project experience preferred.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall or other methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: develop comprehensive project plans with schedules and budgets.
  • Scope Management: define and manage project scope to align with objectives.
  • Resource Management: allocate human, financial, and material resources.
  • Stakeholder Management: communicate progress and manage expectations.
  • Risk & Issue Management: identify, assess, and mitigate risks; maintain RAID log.
  • Reporting & Documentation: prepare status reports and project artifacts.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: lead project teams and foster collaboration.
  • Quality Assurance: implement quality controls to meet standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
