Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in IT, CS, business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in financial services or banking.

About the Role

Our client, a respected institution in the financial services sector, is looking for a meticulous and driven Project Manager to oversee technology-driven projects within their Welkom, Free State operations. The successful candidate will manage projects from initiation through to successful implementation, working closely with IT teams, business units, and external vendors. Requirements

• Proven experience managing IT projects, including software implementation, system upgrades, and process automation.
• Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, and data management concepts.
• Familiarity with financial regulations (e.g., FAIS, FICA) is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model based in Welkom .
