Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Project Manager for a financial services client in Welkom, Free State. You will oversee technology-driven projects from initiation to implementation, collaborating with IT teams, business units, and vendors in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities include defining scope, schedules, budgets, and ensuring regulatory and IT governance compliance, with emphasis on UAT, change control, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in IT, CS, business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in financial services or banking.
• Experience delivering IT solutions including software implementations and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects within the financial services domain.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate and lead project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
• Oversee budget management and financial tracking for assigned projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.
• Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and manage the change control process.
• Ensure adherence to all IT governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
