About the Role

Our client is a leading financial services institution seeking a sophisticated Senior Project Manager to drive critical transformation initiatives within its Welkom operations. This role focuses on overseeing projects related to digital transformation, process optimization, regulatory compliance, and new product launches within the banking and insurance sectors. You will be responsible for managing complex projects from ideation through to successful implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and delivering measurable value. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic transformation projects within the financial services domain.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with business units, IT departments, compliance officers, and external vendors to achieve project objectives.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing effective solutions to ensure project success.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
• Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory requirements (e.g., FAIS, FICA) and internal governance policies.
• Facilitate communication and manage expectations among all project stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Drive process improvements and foster a culture of continuous enhancement within the project delivery framework.
• Oversee the deployment of new technologies and systems, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption.
• Manage change management activities, including training and communication plans, to support project outcomes.

Requirements
