Overview

Project Manager – Field Operations (Stayable Properties) Position Overview Stayable Properties is seeking a Field Project Manager to lead and oversee property renovation, maintenance, and capital improvement projects across our portfolio of extended-stay hotels and residential communities in Central and North Florida.

This is a hands-on, field-based position requiring regular travel between properties to manage on-site work, coordinate contractor teams, and ensure all projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes pride in high-quality results.

Responsibilities
  • On-Site Project Management: Supervise day-to-day field operations for renovation, maintenance, and construction projects.
  • On-Site Project Management: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.
  • On-Site Project Management: Coordinate project timelines, labor, and materials to ensure efficiency and accountability.
  • On-Site Project Management: Work closely with property managers and maintenance staff to minimize operational disruptions.
  • On-Site Project Management: Maintain daily project documentation, including checklists, photos, and reports.
  • Contractor & Vendor Oversight: Direct and support multiple contractor crews, ensuring productivity and adherence to company standards.
  • Contractor & Vendor Oversight: Evaluate whether a task is best completed by in-house contractors or outside vendors based on cost, time, and complexity.
  • Contractor & Vendor Oversight: Inspect completed work for quality control before approving payment or sign-off.
  • Contractor & Vendor Oversight: Enforce compliance with company safety policies, building codes, and local regulations.
  • Scheduling & Resource Coordination: Create and manage detailed project schedules for each property.
  • Scheduling & Resource Coordination: Ensure accurate time tracking and job completion reporting through company systems.
  • Scheduling & Resource Coordination: Prioritize projects strategically to meet property deadlines and occupancy goals.
  • Scheduling & Resource Coordination: Communicate project updates and delays promptly to leadership.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Track labor, materials, and vendor costs in alignment with approved budgets.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities through smart sourcing and efficient resource use.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Prevent schedule disruptions by proactively resolving supply or staffing issues.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in construction, renovation, or property project management (hospitality or multifamily preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Proven ability to lead contractor teams and manage multiple sites simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational, scheduling, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with project tracking and photo documentation tools (e.g., ConnectTeams, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel regularly throughout Central and North Florida.
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience in extended-stay hospitality or affordable housing environments.
