Job summary

Harper-Clayton Construction, a Ft Worth-based contractor specializing in ACM panel systems and exterior cladding, seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee design, fabrication, and installation across projects. You will coordinate with superintendents and department leads to plan, execute, and manage client relationships while driving schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.
• 4+ years of commercial construction project management experience, preferably in architectural finish/cladding.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, and Bluebeam.
• Knowledge of construction processes, specifications, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the entire lifecycle of projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Collaborate with the design, fabrication, and installation teams to meet standards and schedules.
• Manage project risks and implement corrective actions.
• Provide leadership in risk evaluation, negotiations, pricing, and procurement.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, submittals, purchase orders, RFIs, change orders, and close-out documents.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure safety and quality.
• Work with AR/AP to manage monthly pay applications and invoicing.
• Communicate with clients and maintain positive relationships.
• Report progress to ownership and management in regular meetings.
• Supervise and mentor project engineers and assistant PMs.
