Job summary

Ashton North LLC seeks a Project Manager to support Sr. Project Manager on large-scale construction projects, primarily in data centers and heavy industrial sectors. You will oversee change requests, planning, scheduling, reporting, and coordination with clients and subcontractors to keep projects on time and within budget.

The role involves onsite client projects with remote coordination as needed, overtime eligibility, and per diem. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or combination of experience and/or education.
• 5+ years of direct experience.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong computer skills and quick to learn new systems.
• Commitment to continuous improvement of communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Effective scheduling and delegation to accomplish tasks on time.
• Tactful conflict resolution and problem solving abilities.
• A good understanding of how to read drawings and specifications.
• Familiar with computer-based estimating.
• Knowledge of billing and collections.

Responsibilities

• Estimating project scope and costs.
• Manage project expectations and execution of subcontractors.
• Maintaining project documentation.
• Tracking project expenses and budget.
• Preparing reports.
• Communicate with clients and subcontractors.
• Attend and actively participate in project coordination and owner/contractor/architect/engineer meetings as requested or required.
• Research and preparation of change requests to resolve design issues for approval.
• Research and recommend solutions to design document problems, including conflicts, interferences, and errors/omissions.
• Monitor field work and/or contract work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications, and codes.
• Submittal and RFI processes.
• Early completion and tracking of billing.
