Job Description:

Located at our Canton, OH facility and reporting to the General Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for planning and specifications to complete customer work through design and resource identification for installation, retrofit, and repair assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Review engineered mechanical plans and specifications – HVAC, plumbing, piping, gas, and sheet metal.
• Construct material takeoff for plumbing, piping, and HVAC systems.
• Prepare comprehensive mechanical bids including material, labor, and costs.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to compile material costs.
• Work with vendors and subcontractors to gather equipment and subcontract costs.
• Create, sell, and manage planned maintenance contracts.
• Manage current customers and develop new accounts.
• Coordinate bid deadlines with team members.
• Communicate estimation data for review and approval.
• Coordinate with technicians to create proposals.
• Perform site surveys and equipment evaluations for proposals and project planning.
• Present projects to customers and manage project execution.
• Evaluate work progress on-site to meet deadlines and demands.
• Provide technical support to technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical estimating experience preferred.
• Knowledge of heating, cooling, air distribution, building automation, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent mathematical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in CAD, BIM, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn ERP systems.
• Understanding of HVAC systems for proposal creation.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Ability to work in an office and on job sites, including driving to sites for evaluations.
