Jobot is seeking a Project Manager for Commercial TI-Life Sciences in San Diego, CA. The role covers office, manufacturing, life sciences and healthcare projects with a focus on quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

The successful candidate will lead TI, Ground Up, Clean Room and lab support systems, coordinating teams and maintaining documentation, while delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in construction TI/Life Sciences/Healthcare.
• Proven experience in TI, Ground Up, Clean Room, Life Sciences, Healthcare, QC Lab, MEP infrastructure.
• Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• PM certification is a plus; Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of commercial TI construction projects from planning to implementation.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor progress and track results.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs with proper verification.
• Ensure resources are available and allocated appropriately.
• Meet with clients to clarify requirements and orders.

Responsibilities:

• 1. Overseeing all aspects of commercial TI construction projects from planning to implementation.
• 2. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors.
• 3. Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• 4. Developing detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
• 5. Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• 6. Ensuring resource availability and allocation.
• 7. Meeting with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
• 8. Performing risk management to minimize project risks.
• 9. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications:

• 1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in project management in the construction industry.
• 2. Proven working experience in project management in the construction of TI, Ground Up, Clean Room, Life Sciences, Healthcare, QC Lab, Biochem Lab, MEP Infrastructure, and lab support systems.
• 3. Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in construction and project management.
• 4. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• 5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 6. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• 7. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• 8. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• 9. Bachelor's degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
• 10. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• 11. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
