Overview

So. Cal Based GC looking to expand their team. Seeking Project Director for Ground Up, and TI's in the Commercial, Healthcare and Multi-Family markets in OC and LA. Excellent benefits and compensation package.

Based in Irvine, CA we are an Industry Leading Self-Performing Construction company, making waves in the Southern California market.

Salary $150,000 - $225,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Review and interpret project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work, budget, and staffing requirements.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with contractual requirements and meet quality standards.
• Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and government authorities.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
• Implement risk management processes and identify potential risks and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence.
• Resolve any issues or delays that may occur during the construction process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry, with a focus on Commercial, Healthcare, and Mixed Use Construction.
• Proven experience with TI & Renovation, Healthcare, Science & Technology, Hospitality, Mixed Use, Residential, Retail, and Tenant Improvement projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent is a plus.
