Wallace & Smith Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced construction Project Manager for commercial and multi-family projects in California.

The role involves leading design coordination, permitting, and closeout while partnering with owners, architects, and superintendents. The ideal candidate has 5+ years managing commercial or multi-family construction, experience with wood-framed, concrete tilt-up, or pre-engineered steel, and solid knowledge of California permitting and inspection

Qualifications

• Five or more years managing commercial or multi-family construction.

Responsibilities

• Own budget, schedule and procurement from preconstruction through closeout.
• Lead the owner, architect and contractor team through design, permitting and construction.
• Manage subcontractor buyout, submittals, RFIs and change management.
• Work alongside the superintendent to keep the field supplied and on schedule.
