Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Bay Area operations in Alameda, CA. You will provide project management support for commercial projects, participate in safety plans, manage schedules, and oversee cost control and vendor coordination to maximize profitability.

The role requires 3–5 years in construction management, strong communication, and the ability to read drawings and specs. A Bachelor's degree and local presence are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of Construction Management experience in interior construction.
• Experience with estimating, project management, and managing specialty scopes (drywall, framing, ACT, etc.).
• Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management support for commercial projects in Alameda, CA.
• Participate in safety plans, QA/QC, and keep punch lists current.
• Prepare RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings; manage schedules with field staff.
• Oversee cost control, job cost reports, and change orders; coordinate vendors.
• Support customer relations and contribute to risk mitigation and productivity.
