Job summary

MPI is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for commercial construction in Southern California. This role will own projects from preconstruction through closeout, managing budgets, schedules, contracts and documentation, while coordinating with owners, architects and trade partners to deliver high-quality work.

The ideal candidate has 7–12+ years of GC experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple stakeholders while keeping safety, schedule and budget

Qualifications

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee project budget, schedule, contracts and documentation.
• Manage subcontractor procurement and contract administration.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants and trade partners.
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear project communication.
• Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals and change orders.
• Track project costs, commitments and potential changes.
• Identify and resolve project issues proactively.
• Work closely with the Superintendent to maintain schedule and project quality.
• Build and maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.
