Job summary

Wallace Montgomery seeks an experienced Project Manager across multiple disciplines to lead alternative delivery projects. The role includes supervising teams of engineers, planners, scientists, technicians, and subconsultants, and serving as the primary day-to-day owner contact.

The PM will manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk, participate in proposals, and guide reviews, permits, procurement, and construction-phase coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• Professional Engineer license with Virginia licensure or ability to obtain.
• 10 years minimum experience, with 2 years in management or equivalent.
• Experience with design-build or progressive design-build is preferred.
• Experience supporting a public-sector owner or owner's representative.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of multiple technical professionals, project teams and subconsultants.
• Serve as primary day-to-day owner contact; lead program delivery within the owner's governance structure.
• Define team responsibilities, decision processes, and reporting.
• Guide reviews, permits, procurement support, and construction-phase issues.
• Maintain integrated schedules, budgets, risk registers, and progress reports.
• Monitor changes and obtain decisions through established approval processes.
• Mentor Associates and Partners; participate in proposals and client liaison.
