Responsibilities

• Leads and directs Local 814 crews and foremen.
• Serves as the client's operational point of contact while the job is live.
• Coordinates with building management, general contractors, furniture dealers and IT vendors.
• Tracks hours, materials and scope changes, and flags change orders to the sales team.
• Closes out jobs with the punch list, final walkthrough and client sign-off.
• Reports to VP of Operations.

Project Manager - Commercial Moving Company

Project Manager Wanted - $150k OTE

National commercial moving, storage, furniture delivery and installation, and liquidation company.

We are headquartered in Manhattan with a warehouse in Secaucus, NJ, and we service clients nationwide. Our field crews are members of Teamsters Local 814.

The role

We are hiring a field-first Project Manager to run commercial moves and furniture installs on site. We recently promoted our PM into a new Director of Project Management seat, and this hire backfills the field side of that job. Expect most of the week on job sites, not at a desk.

What this person does

• Runs jobs on site from start to close-out, including office relocations, FF&E delivery and installation, decommissioning and liquidation
• Leads and directs our Local 814 crews and foremen
• Serves as the client's operational point of contact while the job is live
• Coordinates with building management, general contractors, furniture dealers and IT vendors
• Tracks hours, materials and scope changes, and flags change orders to the sales team

Package

This is a salaried, non-union management role. Base salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. $95k - $125k + overtime @ $60/hour. All in target earnings year 1 are ~$150,000
