Job summary

Monteith Construction seeks a Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate multiple construction projects in the Carolinas. You will oversee organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation while communicating with superintendents to keep work on schedule and on budget.

As a representative on the Owner-Architect-Builder team, you will build lasting relationships, review drawings for issues, manage submittals and payments, and lead team meetings to ensure high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of construction project management experience.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Procore, Newforma, etc. project management software experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand construction schedules; Primavera P6 experience preferred.
• LEED AP or LEED training is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate development of multiple construction projects.
• Oversee organization, scheduling, and implementation; communicate with Project Superintendents.
• Build and maintain relationships with project team members on Owner-Architect-Builder team.
• Meet with Owner and Architect to review status and budget items.
• Review submittals and billings to mitigate financial risk and ensure proper installation.
• Manage project documents in Procore; coordinate labor and deliveries.
• Lead meetings and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
