Job summary

Monteith Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial construction projects in the Myrtle Beach area. You will direct scheduling, budgeting, and vendor/subcontractor coordination, while representing the Owner-Architect-Builder team and maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 12–15 years in construction PM, an engineering or construction management degree, and proficiency with scheduling tools like Primavera P6 and Procore.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of construction project management experience.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Ability to read and understand construction schedules; Primavera P6 experience preferred.
• LEED AP or LEED training encouraged.
• Willingness to travel in NC/SC and work non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate multiple construction projects and their schedules.
• Maintain relationships with project team members and stakeholders.
• Oversee budget, cost management, and change orders to maximize project returns.
• Review drawings for design deficiencies and coordinate with Architect to resolve issues.
• Approve subcontractor billings and project submittals to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Manage project documents in Procore and coordinate labor and material deliveries.
