We’re looking for a relationship-driven, detail-focused Project Manager to oversee light commercial and residential construction projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate blends strong communication and team-building skills with organized, process-driven project management, ensuring every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role is ideal for someone who values partnership, precision, and consistency, and who takes pride in guiding projects through each phase while building lasting relationships with clients, trade partners, and team members.

Key Responsibilities
Planning & Coordination
  • Develop clear project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the project team and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and accurate execution.
  • Lead project meetings to maintain transparency, track progress, and address concerns early.
Client & Stakeholder Relations
  • Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring open communication and a positive experience throughout the project.
  • Build trust with clients, architects, and trade partners through responsiveness, honesty, and follow-through.
  • Manage expectations by proactively providing updates and solutions.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure all work meets building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
  • Oversee inspections and resolve any compliance issues quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
Financial & Contract Management
  • Manage budgets, monitor costs, and track invoices to keep projects financially on target.
  • Prepare and process change orders, ensuring they are fully documented and approved.
Problem Solving & Decision Making
  • Address challenges thoughtfully, weighing options and involving stakeholders as needed.
  • Keep projects moving forward while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing light commercial and/or residential construction projects.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills—able to build rapport and collaborate with a variety of personalities.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Jobtread, Buildertrend, MS Project).
Certifications
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
  • PMP or equivalent certification a plus.
