CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, delivering on time, on budget, and to quality standards while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage schedules and budgets, oversee procurement, contracts and change orders, and ensure OSHA safety compliance on site.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience in commercial construction
  • Experience managing multiple commercial projects
  • Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture preferred; equivalent experience accepted
  • Contract administration, change orders, budgeting and cost control
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, reading plans and building codes
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and manage all phases of commercial construction projects from award to closeout, ensuring schedule, budget and quality objectives are met
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions to keep work on track
  • Prepare, review and manage budgets, forecasts and cost reports; monitor job costs and implement cost-control measures
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and vendors, including selection, scope clarification, performance monitoring and payment processing
  • Administer contracts, process change orders, maintain documentation and manage claims and disputes
  • Lead preconstruction activities including constructability reviews, value engineering, and input to estimating and buyout
  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, track lead times and manage vendor relationships to prevent delays
  • Manage permitting and inspection processes and maintain compliance with local building codes and regulations
  • Implement and enforce site safety and OSHA compliance programs in collaboration with safety personnel
  • Conduct quality control inspections, manage punchlists and ensure completion of closeout documentation and commissioning requirements
  • Coordinate MEP, structural and specialty trades; facilitate RFI management and resolve technical issues to minimize rework
  • Utilize construction software and documentation systems to maintain project records, submittals and drawings
  • Communicate regularly with clients, design teams and stakeholders to report progress, risks and mitigation plans
  • Supervise project staff and provide mentorship, performance feedback and development opportunities
  • Coordinate crane and heavy equipment logistics, site access, and sequencing with subcontractors and clients when required

Project Manager - Commercial Construction
Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships. This role requires proven commercial construction experience, strong project management skills, and the ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Required skills: Project Management, Commercial Construction, Construction (demonstrated experience managing multiple commercial projects).
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Proven experience with contract administration, change order management, budgeting and cost control.
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods, reading plans and specifications, and building codes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Proven track record managing subcontractors, quality control and site safety programs (OSHA compliance).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel to job sites as required.
