Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an Experienced Project Manager Commercial Construction to lead mid-to-large-scale projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is based in Westerville, OH and requires strong scheduling, cost-control and contract administration skills.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage subcontractors, and maintain client communication to deliver projects on time, on budget and to quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive construction PM experience on commercial or industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in CPM scheduling with MS Project and/or Primavera P6 and EVM.
  • Strong budgeting, cost control, estimating and change order management.
  • Experience with BIM (Revit), AutoCAD and clash detection workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, scheduling and execution across all phases.
  • Develop and maintain CPM schedules using MS Project/Primavera P6; perform schedule risk assessments.
  • Manage budgets, cost control, estimating, quantity takeoffs and EVM to meet targets.
  • Administer contracts and process change orders; document claims and variations.
  • Coordinate procurement, tendering and subcontractor selections and performance.
  • Oversee RFI management, shop drawing review and BIM/RevIt/AutoCAD coordination.
  • Direct site supervision and coordination of structural, MEP works and crane operations.
  • Implement quality control, commissioning procedures and closeout deliverables.

Project Manager Commercial Construction

Experienced Project Manager to lead mid-to-large-scale construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The role is responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget and to required quality and safety standards by coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing subcontractors, and maintaining strong client communication. The ideal candidate combines proven construction delivery experience with strong scheduling, cost-control and contract administration skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project planning, scheduling and execution across all phases: preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout.
  • Develop, maintain and update CPM schedules using MS Project and/or Primavera P6; perform schedule analysis and schedule risk assessments.
  • Manage project budgets, cost control, estimating, quantity takeoffs and earned value management (EVM) to achieve financial targets.
  • Administer contracts, process and negotiate change orders, and maintain clear documentation for claims and variations.
  • Coordinate procurement, tendering and subcontractor selection; manage subcontractor performance and compliance.
  • Oversee RFI management, shop drawing review, submittal processing, and BIM/RevIt/AutoCAD coordination including clash detection.
  • Direct site supervision and construction activities for structural steel, foundations, concrete, MEP coordination, temporary works and crane operations.
  • Implement quality control and commissioning procedures; manage punch lists and closeout deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations, site safety plans and environmental requirements.
  • Coordinate permits, inspections, utilities, and liaise with authorities having jurisdiction to resolve permitting and code issues.
  • Lead value engineering and risk management initiatives to optimize cost, schedule and constructability.
  • Maintain accurate field reporting, material logistics tracking and site documentation using Procore, SharePoint, Bluebeam or equivalent systems.
  • Prepare progress reports, stakeholder updates and client presentations; maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Manage commissioning, start-up coordination and handover to operations; ensure completion of as-built documentation and warranties.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive construction project management experience on commercial or industrial projects; proven record delivering projects on time and on budget.
  • Demonstrated ability in project scheduling (CPM), MS Project and/or Primavera P6 and earned value management (EVM).
  • Strong experience in budgeting, cost control, estimating, quantity takeoffs and change order management.
  • Proven contract administration, subcontractor management, procurement and tendering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with BIM (Revit), shop drawing review, AutoCAD and clash detection workflows.
  • Familiarity with structural steel, foundations, concrete works, MEP coordination, commissioning and site supervision.
  • Knowledge of safety management, OSHA compliance, environmental regulations, permits and inspections.
  • Experience with construction document management platforms such as Procore, SharePoint and Bluebeam.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills; ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Professional certifications preferred: PMP, CCM, LEED AP or equivalent; OSHA 30 or similar safety credentials.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in risk management, value engineering and construction closeout procedures.
