Job summary

Engtal is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground-up and complex commercial construction projects ranging from smaller builds to $110M+. You will manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with field leadership, clients, design teams, and subcontractors.

You will lead budgets, schedules, procurement, and risk reporting, mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery on high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial projects up to $110M+ from preconstruction through closeout.
• Own budgets, schedules, contracts, buyout, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and forecasting.
• Coordinate with superintendents to maintain schedule, quality, safety, and execution.
• Manage relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Lead meetings and report on schedule, cost, procurement, and risks.
• Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground-up and complex commercial construction projects ranging from smaller builds to $110M+. This individual will manage projects from preconstruction through closeout while coordinating closely with field leadership, clients, design teams, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects valued up to $110M+ from preconstruction through final closeout
• Own project budgets, schedules, contracts, buyout, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and forecasting
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents to maintain schedule, quality, safety, and overall project execution
• Manage relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
• Lead project meetings and provide clear reporting on schedule, cost, procurement, and project risks
• Support and mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience, preferably with a general contractor
• Proven experience managing or supporting large-scale ground-up commercial projects
• Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, subcontractor management, and construction operations
• Experience with platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
