Job summary

JRG Partners, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to keep work on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.

You will develop schedules, budgets, and forecasts, monitor costs and profitability, and lead owner meetings while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management/Engineering or related field.
  • 3–5 years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Proficiency with budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and subcontractor management.
  • Procore, Bluebeam, Sage, and MS Office proficiency.

  • Support preconstruction efforts, including estimating.

Job description

Position Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, financial management, and successful delivery of commercial construction projects. Working closely with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams, this individual will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor project costs, profitability, and overall project performance.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical challenges and maintain project momentum.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Manage subcontractor contracts, change orders, and pay applications.
  • Lead owner meetings and provide consistent communication throughout each phase of construction.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Oversee permitting, inspections, punch list completion, and project closeout activities.
  • Support preconstruction efforts, including estimating and conceptual estimating.
  • Mentor project team members while fostering a collaborative, accountable work environment.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships that contribute to repeat business opportunities.
Professional Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Engineering degree with relevant commercial construction experience will also be considered.
  • 3–5 years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Demonstrated experience with project budgeting, scheduling, cost control, subcontractor management, and owner relations.
  • Experience with estimating and conceptual estimating.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Sage, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional client service.
