Job summary

A construction management company is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects from preconstruction to closeout. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, preferably with projects over $20M. Responsibilities include managing all phases of construction, overseeing budgeting and cost control, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The Project Manager will lead construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery in terms of budget, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction. This is a hands‑on leadership role with full ownership of project execution and strong collaboration with field teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction projects from kickoff to completion
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting
• Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and management
• Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with Superintendents
• Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, and project stakeholders
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to internal and external teams

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
• Experience managing projects $20M+ preferred
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and building systems
• Proven financial management and cost control experience
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
