Qualifications

About The Role

The Project Manager drives cross-functional delivery for cloud infrastructure and platform engineering initiatives, coordinating engineers, product managers, security, and operations teams from planning through launch. The work spans technical roadmaps, service reliability improvements, developer tooling, and infrastructure migrations.

This role matters because complex technical programs require clear ownership, disciplined execution, and early risk management. The Project Manager will turn ambiguous goals into executable plans, keep dependencies visible, and ensure projects deliver measurable improvements to reliability, scalability, security, and developer productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end execution of platform and infrastructure projects, including scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and launch criteria
• Build and maintain project plans in tools such as Jira, Linear, Asana, or Smartsheet; keep owners and delivery dates current
• Coordinate engineering, product, security, SRE, IT, and vendor teams through design reviews, implementation, testing, and production rollout
• Translate technical requirements into clear project documentation, decision logs, status updates, and executive-ready reporting
• Manage release readiness for APIs, internal platforms, cloud services, and developer tooling, including incident response and rollback planning
• Identify blockers and cross-team dependencies early, drive resolution, and escalate tradeoffs with clear recommendations
• Measure project outcomes using delivery, reliability, adoption, and operational metrics; lead retrospectives and process improvements

What We Are Looking For

• 3-8 years of project or program management experience in software, cloud infrastructure, developer tools, cybersecurity, or a related technical domain
• Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional technology projects from initiation through production launch
• Working knowledge of software development and infrastructure practices, including Agile planning, CI/CD, APIs, cloud platforms, and incident management
• Proficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira, Linear, Confluence, Notion, Slack, or equivalent platforms
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical status, risks, and decisions to both engineers and executives
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, information systems, or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, observability platforms, security programs, or technical compliance initiatives
