Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from planning through delivery with defined milestones.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Gather requirements and ensure BRDs, FRDs, and supporting documentation are complete and up to date.
• Use JIRA dashboards and reporting to monitor progress and project health.
• Coordinate across cross-functional teams to manage priorities, resources, and delivery commitments.
• Identify risks, issues, bottlenecks, and delays and drive them to resolution.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to leadership.
• Ensure accountability for milestones and deliverables across teams.
• Facilitate communication between business, development, QA, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Support change management, scope tracking, and release planning.

Location: Santa Clara, CA (5 days onsite/week)

Duration: 6+ months

Overview: We are seeking a PMP-certified Project Manager with strong experience managing end-to-end project delivery, milestones, requirements, BRD/FRD documentation, JIRA dashboards, and cross-functional teams. The Project Manager will take ownership of project planning and execution, coordinate business and technical teams, track deliverables and milestones, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within agreed scope.

Manager's Update: Strong Project Manager with PMP certification and hands-on experience in project risk management, conducting sprint ceremonies, resolving project and team conflicts, and preparing project plans and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects from planning through delivery, ensuring milestones, timelines, and deliverables are clearly defined and achieved.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, action items, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure BRDs, FRDs, and supporting documentation are complete and up to date.
• Use JIRA dashboards and reporting to monitor project progress, team activities, deliverables, and overall project health.
• Coordinate across cross-functional teams to manage priorities, dependencies, resources, and delivery commitments.
• Proactively identify risks, issues, bottlenecks, and potential delays and drive them through resolution.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide clear updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage project milestones, follow up on outstanding tasks, and ensure teams remain accountable for committed deliverables.
• Facilitate communication between business, development, QA, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
• Support change management, scope tracking, release planning, and overall delivery governance.
• Take proactive ownership of project execution and ensure successful and timely delivery.
