Project Manager (Contract with potential Renewals)
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver medium to large-scale projects from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for driving project success by coordinating resources, managing stakeholders and vendors, mitigating risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills who can effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Duration: 12-month contract with the option to renew
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Work Hours: Typically performed between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Overtime: Not approved
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid
- Minimum of 3 days per week onsite
- Additional onsite days may be required based on project needs

Key Responsibilities
- Lead medium to highly complex projects through all phases of the project lifecycle using appropriate project management methodologies and tools.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, resources, and success criteria.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment among stakeholders throughout project execution.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Manage project changes and implement change management practices aligned with organizational standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, status reports, dashboards, and key performance metrics.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, subject matter experts, vendors, and project teams.
- Manage vendor relationships, deliverables, and contract-related activities.
- Monitor project performance and escallate issues as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
- Conduct gap analyses, root cause analyses, and recommend solutions to improve project results.
- Ensure project deliverables comply with applicable regulatory, contractual, and organizational requirements.
- Lead meetings, workshops, and facilitation sessions with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Support project implementation, transition, closure, and lessons learned activities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing projects using Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
- Strong proficiency with project management tools, including Microsoft Project.
- Working knowledge of project management best practices and standards, including the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience managing vendors, project budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional project management certification (such as PMP®) preferred.
- Experience working in regulated environments or within large, complex organizations is a plus.
