Our client seeks an experienced Project Manager to work with multiple stakeholders, project teams, divisions, departments, and vendors to strategize, implement, and maintain modernization initiatives for social services and Medicaid programs. Interaction with all staff levels, including executives, is required.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Review project proposals to determine timelines, funding, procedures, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Identify and schedule project milestones, deliverables, and activities.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish work plans and staffing, and coordinate recruitment or assignment of personnel.
  • Ensure project goals align with business objectives and are achieved.
  • Assign duties, define authority, and oversee project progress within budget and schedule.
  • Review status reports and adjust plans as needed.
  • Develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses for initiatives.
  • Manage vendor onboarding and coordinate requirements from cross-functional teams.
  • Identify risks and opportunities across projects.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and expectations across workstreams.
  • Collaborate with State DIT to ensure compliance with IT Roadmap, privacy, and security requirements.

Minimum Requirements
  • Program management experience managing multiple large projects – 3+ years.
  • Experience creating portfolio roadmaps – 3+ years.
  • Proven track record of delivering IT projects on time, within scope and budget – 3+ years.
  • Risk, cost, schedule, and quality management experience – 3+ years.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) and MS Office – 5+ years.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with experience in complex project planning.
