Job summary

A design and project management firm is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee on-site operations and ensure timely project execution. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, monitoring project timelines and costs, and communicating with clients. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, and experience in the Real Estate industry, with a degree at minimum. This role is based in New York with potential for relocation.

Job Description-

Manage daily on-site operations and ensure smooth project execution.

Provide progress reports and updates to relevant stakeholders.

Monitor project timelines and costs, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.

Facilitate clear communication with clients and manage internal stakeholder relationships.

Identify the appropriate general contractors (GCs) for project execution from a pool of options.

Define the scope of work and negotiate costs after evaluating multiple quotations.

Set project objectives and oversee the entire project lifecycle, tracking progress and assignments.

Coordinate with the general contractor to ensure timely availability of materials, tools, hardware, and components required for project tasks.

Collaborate with the logistics department to monitor and manage furniture and material deliveries from India Production to US project sites.

Engage with vendors, address their concerns, and take necessary actions to resolve issues.

Ensure accurate and consistent documentation for both management and client reporting.

Provide guidance and instructions to workers on daily tasks.

Conduct regular meetings with clients, team leads, and design teams to maintain strong client relationships.

Lead weekly and daily scrums at project sites with clients and general contractors.

Handle escalations in line with the established escalation matrix
