A leading design and project management firm in New York is in search of a skilled Project Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure successful project execution, and manage relationships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, strong leadership qualities, and experience in the real estate industry. Responsibilities include monitoring project progress, coordinating with contractors, managing vendor communication, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. This role requires effective communication and sharp organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the Real Estate industry preferred, with additional consideration for Interior Design and Build experience.
  • Strong leadership, effective communication, and proactive project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily on-site operations and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide progress reports and updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor project timelines and costs, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Facilitate clear communication with clients and manage internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify appropriate general contractors for project execution.
  • Define the scope of work and negotiate costs after evaluating quotations.
  • Set project objectives and oversee the entire project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with the general contractor for timely availability of materials and tools.
  • Collaborate with logistics for furniture and material deliveries.
  • Engage with vendors and resolve issues.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for management and client reporting.
  • Provide guidance to workers on daily tasks.
  • Conduct regular meetings to maintain strong client relationships.
  • Lead weekly and daily scrums at project sites.
  • Handle escalations as per established procedures.

Job Description-
  • Manage daily on-site operations and ensure smooth project execution.

  • Monitor project timelines and costs, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Facilitate clear communication with clients and manage internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Identify the appropriate general contractors (GCs) for project execution from a pool of options.
  • Define the scope of work and negotiate costs after evaluating multiple quotations.
  • Set project objectives and oversee the entire project lifecycle, tracking progress and assignments.
  • Coordinate with the general contractor to ensure timely availability of materials, tools, hardware, and components required for project tasks.
  • Collaborate with the logistics department to monitor and manage furniture and material deliveries from India Production to US project sites.
  • Engage with vendors, address their concerns, and take necessary actions to resolve issues.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent documentation for both management and client reporting.
  • Provide guidance and instructions to workers on daily tasks.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients, team leads, and design teams to maintain strong client relationships.
  • Lead weekly and daily scrums at project sites with clients and general contractors.
  • Handle escalations in line with the established escalation matrix

Necessary Qualifications
