Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting commercial security and life safety installation projects in San Antonio, TX. This on-site role is ideal for a hands-on project professional with strong experience in fire alarm, security, CCTV, access control, construction, or low-voltage environments.

As a Commercial Security Project Manager, you will manage active jobsite installations, coordinate with sales and engineering teams, oversee documentation, and help ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. This opportunity offers a collaborative work environment, supportive leadership, and the chance to play a key role in delivering critical security and surveillance solutions for commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site installation and project administration for fire alarm, security, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, field teams, and clients to align schedules, documentation, and project expectations.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour.
• Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
• Schedule: Full-time, varies by project, with some weekends required.
• Work Location: On-site in San Antonio, TX.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Manage commercial security installation projects from planning through completion.
• Coordinate project schedules, field labor, jobsite activity, RFIs, safety requirements, and change orders.
• Support estimating, proposals, documentation, and client-facing project communication.
• 6 to 10 years of relevant project management or commercial security industry experience.
• Commercial security experience is required.
• Experience with fire alarm systems, construction, low-voltage installation, CCTV, access control, or related systems.
• Strong project management, troubleshooting, jobsite coordination, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., navigate active worksites, and wear required PPE.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• High school diploma or Associate’s degree required.
• Self-driven, tech-savvy, safety-focused, and comfortable working in active commercial jobsite environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• NICET certification.
• PMP certification.
• EST3 experience or certification.
• State security or fire licenses.
• Additional experience with commercial fire, security, CCTV, access control, or low-voltage systems.
