Job description

Huntingdon Valley, PA | On-Site

$120,000+ Base Compensation

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of commercial construction projects from turnover through final completion and closeout.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who knows how to run projects—not simply oversee them. You’ll work directly with general contractors and field teams, review drawings and specifications, manage submittals and RFIs, coordinate procurement and schedules, and stay ahead of issues before they become field problems.

What You’ll Own
  • Manage multiple commercial construction projects from turnover through closeout
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for general contractors, construction managers, owners, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work
  • Identify drawing conflicts, scope gaps, constructability concerns, and missing information early
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, material takeoffs, and project documentation
  • Coordinate purchasing, fabrication, material releases, and delivery schedules
  • Develop and maintain project schedules alongside field leadership
  • Stay closely connected with superintendents and foremen to keep work moving
  • Manage change orders, additional work, and project billing documentation
  • Visit active jobsites regularly to understand field conditions and address issues
  • Drive punch lists, closeout documentation, warranties, and final completion
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
  • Strong ability to read and understand architectural drawings, specifications, details, and construction documents
  • Experience working directly with general contractors and construction managers
  • Hands-on experience with submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement, schedules, and project closeout
  • Ability to independently manage multiple active projects and competing priorities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working directly with field personnel and regularly visiting active jobsites
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Procore, Fieldwire, Bluebeam, Excel, or similar construction software
Preferred Experience

Experience in commercial roofing, architectural sheet metal, metal wall panels, exterior wall systems, building envelope construction, waterproofing, glazing, curtain wall, or another technically driven specialty trade is preferred.

Exact industry experience is not required if you have strong commercial construction project management fundamentals and can learn technical systems quickly.

What Success Looks Like

You take ownership and stay ahead of problems. You understand the drawings, know what the field needs, maintain strong relationships with general contractors, keep materials and submittals moving, identify changes early, and drive projects to completion without requiring constant direction.

There is meaningful opportunity for the right person to take on greater responsibility within the Project Management function as the company and project portfolio continue to grow.
