Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking a Project Manager to lead diverse commercial construction projects across Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. You will drive projects from restoration to major new builds, coordinating engineers, architects, and contractors to meet deadlines and budgets.

The role offers responsibilities in submittals, shop drawings, material logistics, and closeout, with focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a construction project manager with a general contractor or subcontractor.
• In-depth knowledge of modern construction procedures and materials.
• Strong project management skills and familiarity with quality and safety standards.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Demonstrated team leadership and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, building owners, and general contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage and process submittals, shop drawings, and samples.
• Oversee project material ordering, scheduling, logistics, and jobsite timelines.
• Monitor project progress and coordinate with superintendents and foremen to resolve issues.
• Ensure accuracy in monthly billing, manage change orders, and document "as built" changes.
• Lead project closeout, punch list completion, final inspections, and site cleanup.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Project Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a construction project manager with a general contractor or subcontractor
• In-depth knowledge of modern construction procedures and materials
• Strong project management skills and familiarity with quality and safety standards
• Proficient with MS Office and construction/project management software
• Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and time management abilities
• Demonstrated team leadership and collaboration skills
• BS/BA in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred

Project Manager Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience coordinating with engineers, architects, and general contractors
• Knowledge of metal roofing and siding projects
• Background in both public and private sector construction
• Experience with restoration or specialty fabrication considered a plus
