Mariani Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Project Manager in Petoskey, MI to lead outdoor construction projects from scope to completion. You will develop estimates, sell projects to clients, plan crews, and ensure on-site execution with subcontractors and designers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct walk-throughs with client and designer to discuss scope of work for new projects.
• Develop estimates for each project.
• Manage projects with regular site visits, address concerns, and upsell additional work.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure work is completed to spec.
• Create as-builds during construction and hand to designers and client.
• Work with Logistics/Procurement to build schedules and staffing plans.
• Maintain stock levels and procure special items as needed.
• Ensure adherence to the proposed production schedule and budget.
• Review division reports for profitability and adjust as needed.
• Provide performance feedback on staff to the Team Development Manager.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develop policies and goals within the department.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.

They are responsible for initial contact of new construction work orders while remaining the point of contact for their existing clients’ construction needs. They create the estimate and sell the project to the client. They are responsible for scheduling the crews, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the project they sold.**Responsibilities and Duties*** Conduct walk-through with client and possibly designer to discuss scope of work for all new construction projects. Adjust course as needed to support.* Confirm hours and materials used for billing accuracy in relation to down payment, percent of project complete, and final invoice.* Provide feedback to Team Development Manager of performance and behavioral issues of staff on their projects and job sites.* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local governing bodies according to industry standards.* Develop policies, procedures, and goals within the department.* Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.* Other duties as assigned.**Job Requirements*** At least 2 years’ of applicable work experience preferably in the landscape industry* Demonstrate knowledge of landscape terminology, plant materials, applicable construction materials, and installation techniques.* Possess a strong ability to multi-task and exercise efficiencies in time management.* Superior interpersonal skills with clients, colleagues, and direct reports both verbally and written.* Beginner to intermediate skills with MS Office Suite.* Prior Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software experience, preferred.* Possess and maintain a valid drivers license.
