The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hardscape experience, knowledge of Versa-Lok/Belgard/Unilock, a valid Michigan driver's license, and the ability to lead small crews and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Construct boulder walls, natural stone features, and manufactured block retaining walls per design plans and safety standards.

• Ensure proper base preparation, drainage, and structural stability of stonework.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with natural stone, block wall systems, grade changes, and demonstrates a strong understanding of structural integrity and design aesthetics of outdoor spaces.**Responsibilities and Duties** * Construct boulder walls, natural stone features, and manufactured block retaining walls according to design plans and safety standards* Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and layout designs for hardscape projects* Operate skid steers, excavators, compactors, and other machinery relevant to grading and stone installation* Ensure proper base preparation, drainage, and structural stability of all stonework* Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timelines, quality standards, and client expectations are met* Maintain a safe and clean work environment and comply with company safety policies* Other duties as assigned**Job Requirements*** 2+ years of experience in hardscape installation, with emphasis on boulder work and retaining wall systems (e.g., Versa-Lok, Belgard, Unilock)* Strong knowledge of drainage systems, base materials, and construction best practices* Ability to work independently and lead small crews on-site when needed* Proficient in the use of compact equipment and hand tools required for hardscape construction* Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, and standing for long periods in outdoor conditions* Strong communication and organization skills* Reliable attendance and ability to work long days as project schedules require* Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions, including heat and humidity* Possess and maintain a valid Michigan Driver’s License.
