Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a qualified Project Manager to join a government client's PMO in Oklahoma City. The role focuses on directing projects from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with agency goals.

You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate resources, communicate with stakeholders at all levels, and apply Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid approaches while maintaining PMBOK standards and vendor engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience managing medium to large projects using Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid methodologies.
• Familiarity with MS Project and PMO reporting.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage medium to extra-large projects through full lifecycle activities using appropriate methodologies and tools, planning and communication, and acquire, develop, and manage the project team.
• Perform all standard project management deliverables including scope and objectives, change management, risk mitigation, budgeting, stakeholder communication, project and vendor engagement, subject matter expert utilization, implementation, and project closure.
• Develop and manage project status reports for communicating with project stakeholders and reporting key metrics for the PMO dashboard.
• Implement change management practices in accordance with agency and PMO guidance.
• Forecast, manage, and acquire resources needed to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure project activities and deliverables adhere to federal, state, or agency documented guidelines.
• Facilitate and manage contract processes from initiation to closure.
• Routinely perform gap analysis, root cause analysis, and offer recommendations for successful project outcomes.
• Demonstrate dynamic ability to lead group facilitation activities for the agency especially in areas requiring interaction of an independent party.

Description

A government client in Oklahoma City is seeking a qualified Project Manager to join its Project Management Office (PMO) located in the agency’s Oklahoma City office. Within the PMO, the Project Manager will work with the team to leverage resources, drive efficiencies, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet overall objectives.The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, completion, and closing of projects under the guidance and direction of the PMO, ensuring consistency with the agency’s strategy, mission, commitments, and goals. The Project Manager will serve as a primary contact for direction of agency resources and activities as they relate to the life cycle of assigned projects.
