Job summary

The Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support its PMO in Oklahoma City. This hybrid, contract role will coordinate programs to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include leading complex projects through lifecycle, applying Waterfall/Agile/Hybrid methods, developing plans in MS Project, and reporting progress to stakeholders; strong communication and vendor coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Strong familiarity with MS Project and ability to use it effectively.
• Understanding of PMI PMBOK Guide and Standards.
• Experience coordinating vendors, contracts, project teams, and subject matter experts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage medium to large projects through initiation, planning, execution and closure.
• Define scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Apply Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies based on needs.
• Develop project plans and track progress using MS Project and other tools.
• Identify, track, mitigate, and escalate risks and blockers.
• Coordinate project teams, stakeholders, vendors, and SMEs.
• Prepare and maintain project status reports and dashboards.
